Response

Whilst our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the Student Awards Agency Scotland (SAAS) does not hold all the information you have requested.

Please note SAAS make payments towards translation, interpretation and language services in relation to Disabled Students Allowance (DSA). The reporting requirements for SAAS and DSA do not require us to report against the specific categories you have asked for therefore we are unable to provide you with that information as it is not available.

This is a formal notice under section 17(1) of FOISA that the Student Awards Agency Scotland does not have some of the information you have requested.

SAAS have engaged Deaf Action to provide the required British Sign Language (BSL) translation for our online funding guide videos and Eventbrite events. The table below details this expenditure.
