The Ministerial Group on Aquaculture
The Ministerial Group on Aquaculture (MGA) was established in 2009. It's remit is to oversee implementation of A Fresh Start - the renewed Strategic Framework for Scottish Aquaculture through the six working groups:
MGA membership is made up of the six working group chairs, as well as aquaculture stakeholders and regulators. The Group, which meets biannually, is chaired by Roseanna Cunningham, Minister for the Environment.
The Chairs of the working groups updated the MGA with presentations at the third meeting of the Group on 23 February 2011. You can read the minutes from that meeting online.
