The Linnhe/Lorn/Etive/S.Mull/Sunart AMA is the largest of the area management groups and spans the boarders of Argyll and Lochaber, and was also one of the first signed in April 2002. The agreement signatories comprise of Argyll Fisheries Trust, Argyll District Salmon Fisheries Board, Lochaber Fisheries Trust, Lochaber District Salmon Fisheries Board, Marine Harvest Scotland, Scottish Sea Farms, Mainstream Scotland, Kames, Caledonian Trout Co., and Torhouse Trout. The AMA comprises of three production areas and since 2005, 11 of the original marine sites have been made redundant, so now a total of 39 marine sites and 9 freshwater salmon and trout sites remain, with a total annual production of 23,292 tonnes of marine farmed salmon.
The major river system in Lochaber is the Lochy, but the Black water and the Rannoch are also significant systems. In Argyll the major river systems within this AMA area are the Awe/ Orchy and the Creran.

Area Management Agreement
- Production Schedules: The salmon farming year in production area one runs from late winter 2006 until early winter 2008, production area two runs from late winter 2007 until early winter 2009, and production area three runs from late winter 2007 until early winter 2009.
