The Arran area management agreement has just recently been signed in December 2007, and will be conveining their first meeting in April 2008. The area covers all coastal waters of Arran and the east coast of the Mull of Kintyre. Post smolt sampling first commenced in 2007 and will continue in 2008. Fisheries restoration assessment plans are currently being constructed for this region.
