Less Favoured Areas Support Scheme (LFASS) Payment Progress
Due to severe weather in recent months, it has been impossible for inspectors to carry out the necessary farm inspections which allow us to start making LFASS payments to applicants.
Under EU regulations we must complete all of these inspections before any of the payments can start. We are treating this as a priority and our inspectors are carrying out inspections as quickly as possible now that weather conditions have improved. Applicants should now expect to receive payments from the end of February.
