All of Scotland's reptiles, apart from the Grass snake, are UK BAP Priority species. The slow worm, common lizard and adder are widespread on the Scottish mainland, but absent from the Northern Isles. These 3 species vary in their occurrence across the other islands. You should check which are present before choosing management Options. The Sand lizard occurs only on Coll, where it was introduced.
