Specific targeted areas for Rural Priorites

In order of priority:

  1. Scotland's nationally important nature sites ( SSSIs, SACs, SPAs and Ramsar sites) to help to maintain or bring the special features on these into 'favourable condition'. You can find out where these are through " Sitelink".
  2. Scotland's nationally important nature sites ( SSSIs, SACs, SPAs and Ramsar sites), to control the spread of the species. You can find out where these are through " Sitelink".
  3. Other sites that are recognised for their biodiversity interest such as Local Nature Reserves or Sites of Interest to Natural Science, to control the spread of the species. You may wish to speak to your Case Officer to clarify whether your Proposal comes into this category.
  4. Along transport corridors - control these species where they are actively spreading, to control the spread of the species. You may wish to speak to your Case Officer to clarify whether your Proposal comes into this category.
