Rural Priorities Axis 1 and 3 funding round - June 2012

We can now confirm that the next round of Rural Priorities Regional Proposal Assessment Committees (RPACs) for Axis 1 and 3 projects only will take place in June 2012.

The timetable for the June 2012 round is as follows:

  • Applications to be submitted by 22 February 2012
  • Applications to be committed by 5 April 2012*
  • RPACs to be held from 11-15 June 2012
Rural Priorities Axis 2 funding round - September 2012

The next round of Rural Priorities RPACs for Axis 2 projects only will take place in September 2012.

The timetable for the September 2012 round is as follows:

  • Applications to be submitted by 30 March 2012
  • Applications to be committed by 15 June 2012*
  • RPACs to be held from 17-28 September 2012

Applicants should ensure that all supporting documentation they wish to have considered as part of their application is provided by the dates above.

Applicants are reminded that from 1 May 2011, applications for agri-environment projects up to £50,000 on Sites of Special Scientific Interest (SSSIs) and Natura Sites will be considered under an ongoing approval process. Applicants for these projects do not need to wait for the September 2012 RPAC.

As previously published, applicants with forestry only proposals can apply under an ongoing approval process and do not need to wait for the September 2012 RPAC.

* Please note that applications received after the commit date will not be considered at the relevant RPAC. Similarly, we cannot guarantee that all applications received by the commit date will be considered at that RPAC, as the time taken for a Case Officer to assess and score an application will vary depending on the application's complexity and, in some cases, advice given by other public bodies.
