TRANSFER OF PAYMENT ENTITLEMENTS

If you own Single Farm Payment Scheme (SFPS) entitlements, you are eligible to transfer them. This includes entitlements awarded to you when the scheme began in 2005, and those you have since purchased or inherited. A transfer can be done through sale, lease or inheritance, and can be with or without land (subject to certain conditions).

If you wish to find out more about this process please see the Single Farm Scheme (SFPS) Supplementary Information Leaflet - Transfer of Payment Entitlements (Sale, Lease or Inheritance). You must advise the Scottish Government Rural Payments and Inpsections Directorate (SGRPID) of all transfers, and must do so by completing form SFPS 1- Application to Transfer (Sale, Lease, or Inheritance) Entitlements.

The Entitlement Transfer Unit will process all transfer applications. They are based at 10 Keith Street, Stornoway, HS1 2QG and can be contacted on 01851 702392, or alternatively you can fax them on 01851 705793.
