What is my Agent Identifier?
You need to enter two known items of information when you enrol for Rural Payments Online.
Everyone has to enter their Logon number. Farm businesses will also enter their Business Reference Number (BRN) but because agents do not have a BRN they will have to enter their Agent Identifier (Agent ID).
The Agent ID is a number specific to every Authorised Agent which is stored within the department's main database.
Agents will need to phone the Rural Paymments Online Helpdesk on 0845 601 7597 to get their Agent ID. Please have your business details at hand when you phone.
Please note: If you are not registered with SGRPID as an Authorised Agent, you will have to complete an Agent Authorisation form (AA-1). These are available through your Local Area Office.
