Tropilaelaps
Tropilalaps is a notifiable bee pest. These bee mites Tropilaelaps spp., (Tropilaelaps clareae and Tropilaelaps. koenigerum) are native to Asia and have been spread from their original host the giant honey bee (Apis dorsata) to the European honey be (Apis mellifera). They are serious parasitic mites affecting both developing brood and adult honey bees.
