Eggs and Poultry 
Scotland's egg industry is small, with three main producers and a large number of smaller operators accounting for 1.9% of agricultural output in 2010 at a value of £42.7 million. The poultry industry in Scotland contributed to 3.1% of the nation's agricultural output in 2010 at a value of £72.6 million. In the region of 51 million chickens were processed in 2010.
