Following on from the mornings workshop on Equalities Data, John Fraser gave a live demonstration of Scottish Neighbourhood Statistics.
Because it was a live demonstration there are no presentations to access here.
All participants were given a copy of the Scottish Neighbourhood Statistics Guide.
Feedback from the workshop was very positive. Eight participants answered the following questions on a scale of 1 to 5 where 1="strongly agree" and 5="strongly disagree":
- I feel I have increased knowledge and understanding of the range of data that can be accessed through SNS. Mean score: 1.4
- I feel better informed about how to use SNS to access data, download data, use standard reports, and create my own geographies. Mean score: 1.3
- I feel better informed about what datazones and other standard geographies are and how I can use them. Mean score: 1.5
- I feel better informed about the usefulness of metadata provided on SNS. Mean score: 2.1
