Scottish Household Survey - Cultural Access and Participation
Scottish Household Survey Annual Report - Results from 2007 on Culture and Sport provides data at a sub national level. The sample is structured to be nationally representative each quarter and to provide a representative sample for larger local authorities each year, and every local authority over a two-year period. Therefore, the 2007 data provides a representative sample for the larger local authorities (Glasgow and Edinburgh). Once the 2008 data is available, the combined 2007-08 data will provide a representative sample for all local authorities. Future data will therefore be available on a biannual basis.
National Identity and Reputation
The Scottish Government does have other statistical sources that can be used to better understand issues to do with National Identity and Reputation. The Scottish Household Survey makes available data about a range of issues that are relevant to the concept of living in Scotland and what that means to the national population at a sub national level, eg Scottish Household Survey Annual Report- Results from 2007 on Neighbourhoods and Communities
