The Buildings at Risk Register (BARR) for Scotland highlights properties of architectural or historic merit throughout the country that are considered to be at risk or under threat. In 2011, the proportion of A-list buildings (which are of national or international importance) at risk was 8.2%. This is an improvement on the previous available figure (8.7% in 2009).
