Pupil Attainment S4-S6

The percentage of pupils gaining 5 or more awards at SCQF level 5 or above (standard grade credit level or equivalent) by the end of S6 increased from 38% in 1998/99 to 47% in 2002/03. Since then it has remained between 47% and 48%, until 2009/10 when it increased to 50%.

In S4, nine out of ten pupils gained an award at SCQF level 3 (Standard Grade foundation level) or above in both English and Maths in 2009/10; this has been consistent over a number of years.
