Update on the Review of Civil Judicial Statistics - Update 5 (Published 10 December 2010)
The draft dataset was discussed with data suppliers during July to October 2010 and was further refined as a result of these discussions. The resource implications for the Scottish Court Service (SCS) were identified and approval for funding was agreed by the Review's Project Board on 08 November 2010, when the specification for the final dataset was also signed off. There are no significant resource implications for other data suppliers.
The SCS is planning to implement the changes required over the period December 2010 to March 2011 and it is currently proposed that the new data collection will commence in April 2011.
Following on from the update on the Accuracy of Civil Judicial Statistics, data for 2008-09 and 2009-10 will be published on the Civil Judicial Statistics section of the Scottish Government's website on 21 December 2010.
