Local Authority Tables

Tables 5 to 8 provide data split by Local Authority. They only include registered businesses (excluding public sector enterprises). They exclude all estimates for unregistered businesses. The tables are available for 2008 to 2011 on a SIC 2007 basis and for 2000 to 2010 on a SIC 2003 basis.

Local Enterprise Company Tables

Local Enterprise Company (LEC) Tables

The LEC area tables are no longer published. On the 1st April 2008 the Local Enterprise Company (LEC) structure in Scotland was replaced by six regional operations. The back series of the previously published LEC area tables and new tables on the regional basis are available on request from industrystatistics@scotland.gsi.gov.uk.
