Farmland Use - Horticulture

HORTICULTURE

The total area of vegetables grown in the open for human consumption, in 2011, was 15,246 hectares.

The value of horticultural output in Scotland fell by 5.3 per cent to £241 million in 2010 mainly due to an £13 million decrease in the value of fruit.
