These datasets are based on management information obtained from sea fisheries management information systems and have not undergone the quality assurance procedures necessary for National Statistics. In particular, the data presented here represents the data held in the management information systems at the time of the data extraction and is therefore incomplete.

The National Statistics publication of Scottish Sea Fisheries Statistics are published in September the following year to which they relate and can be found on the publications page. Provisional statistics give timely access to these statistics and are publish in March?May the following year to which they relate. These provisional statistics can be found on the provisional statistics page.
