The main consultation network is the ScotStat network. Social and Welfare statistics are dealt with by the:

You may also wish to note that the Scottish Executive is represented on the Social and Welfare National Statistics Theme group which addresses issues at a UK level.

You are also invited to register on the ScotStat user register. The ScotStat register allows users and providers of Scottish Statistics to record their interest in specific topics. The register will then be used to target those interested in a particular statistical area.

The Scottish Neighbourhood Statistics project has been developed in consultation with users across Scotland and the UK. Minutes of meetings, discussion papers, geography issues etc are available at:

Planning

Openness about planning and prioritising is a key requirement of National Statistics and of our commitment to users and providers. Details can be found at:

The 2006/07 plan will available by end March 2006.

These plans and priorities are consistent with the view of the ScotStat Social and Welfare Committee.
