Local Authority Analysis - 2005-06
The Scottish Household Survey is a continuous survey based on a sample of the general population in private residences in Scotland. The aim of the survey is to provide representative information about the composition, characteristics and behaviour of Scottish households, both nationally and at a more local level. The survey covers a wide range of topics to allow links to be made between different policy areas.
The LA Analysis presented here summaries the tables which were disaggregated by Local Authority, presented in the SHS Annual Report 2005/06. The Excel workbook is partially intercative, whereby the user selects the Local Authority they are interested in for each worksheet, and the relevant data is displayed showing comparisons against the Scotland level.

- What we do - examines the economic circumstances of households and adults
- How we live - presents analysis of household resources
- Our communities - analyses adults' involvement in their community and other neighbourhood issues.
