Add individual client based postcoded information to the Residential Care (R1) and the Day Care (D1b) returns
Add a new section to the Home Care (H1) return to collect information, including postcode, on individual clients
Completely revise the CJS return into an individual order return, to include the postcode of the individual client.
Consider the amalgamation of the current aggregated statistical return and the annual return.
Encourage the electronic submission of data to the Executive
Demonstrate the advantages of postcoded client information
2003-04
Monitor the progress of community care and criminal justice data onto the SNS database and consider any possible amendments/changes required for 2004.
Consider further improvements/simplification in data collection
Further investigation into the potential use of GIS within social work.
Consider the possible advantages of the linkage of staff to client data.
