Reports on Ministerial Priorities for Gender Equality - July 2010

On 1 July 2010 Scottish Ministers published reports giving an overview of progress made by listed public bodies in tackling violence against women and in tackling occupational segregation

The Scottish Government's Gender Equality Scheme covered the period from June 2008 - May 2011. It set out how we would implement the requirements of the gender equality duty. The latest update on progress can be found at the Gender Equality Scheme Annual Report 2011.

In April 2011, the gender equality duty was replaced by the new single equality duty in the Equality Act 2010. The new duty does not require publication of a scheme.
