Our Fire and Rescue Authorities rely on a high quality and resilient communications system in order to mobilise and manage incidents. Firelink has delivered a new single digital wide-area communication system for the Fire and Rescue Services in Scotland which interfaces with the other blue light services.
The single network means that firefighters will be able to communicate across Fire and Rescue Service
boundaries within Great Britain and to other blue lights services. The advent of Firelink means that the fire and rescue services will join the police on a highly resilient and secure communications platform.
