The Scottish Crime and Drug Enforcement Agency (SCDEA) exists to prevent and detect serious and organised crime as it affects Scotland at a national and international level.
Since its formation in June 2000 the SCDEA has achieved significant success in identifying and bringing to justice those involved serious and organised crime, particularly drug trafficking.
Aiming to make Scottish communities safer, the SCDEA relies on the ongoing support of the Association of Chief Police Officers in Scotland and the Scottish Government.
