Communication and Stakeholder Consultations

As part of our commitment to take account of the views of police service users and the public at large in our work, we continue to look for ways to improve how we engage with anyone and everyone with an interest in policing in Scotland.

We now publish a quarterly newsletter, which can be found on our website, and this year we conducted our first ever stakeholder consultation survey. The feedback we have gathered from this exercise will help to inform future work, while future surveys will help us to gauge what our stakeholders think of the progress we are making.

In the year ahead we are hoping to establish a way of reaching more members of the public, so that we can learn about their ideas and experiences of the Scottish police service. Our intention is that these findings too, will help to shape what we do in the future.
