A National Strategy for Public Space CCTV in Scotland has now been published on the Scottish Government website. The strategy should act as a guide to those organisations which operate cameras, helping them to employ best practice and identify areas of efficiency.

Digital Evidence Standards
With the increasing volume of digitally based evidence, Scottish criminal justice organisations are agreed that technical standards for electronic evidence are necessary to facilitate the use and exchange of such evidence within the criminal justice system.
ISCJIS Baseline Security Requirements
New Baseline Security Requirements for ISCJIS members have been published (October 2010). These reflect the security requirements outlined in the Government Security Policy Framework which can be found on the Cabinet Office website. A separate document containing guidance for Local Authorities has also been produced and should be read in conjunction with the Baseline Security Requirements document.
