The Lothian and Borders Board provides a high level forum in which the flow of cases within the criminal justice system in the Lothian and Borders area is kept under review. It seeks, recommends, and monitors the impact of improved practices and procedures within each of the criminal justice agencies with a view to achieving greater overall efficiency in the disposal of business.
