Scottish Government

Members of the Carers Strategy Steering Group and the Young Carers Steering Group, together with other external stakeholders and Scottish Government officials, met on 29 September 2009 for an Away Day to take forward the development of the Carers Strategy for Scotland, including that part relating to young carers.

Around 35 people attended the Away Day, with participants coming from many different organisations, including the Scottish Government, CoSLA, the NHS, local authorities, voluntary sector and carers' organisations.
