REMIT
The remit of the Health Boards and Local Authorities Powers and Functions Sub-Group is to provide specialist advice and assistance to ensure readiness for implementation of Part 6 of the Act (Sections 87-89) on 1 April 2009 and Parts 3, 4, 5 and 6 (sections 90-93) of the Act on 1 October 2009. The implemtation date for part 7 (updated ships and aircraft regulations) is yet to be confirmed.
The Chair of the Powers and Functions Sub-Group reports to the National Implementation Group.
