The first NHSScotland NMAHP Prescribing Conference was held on the 4th of February 2011 in Edinburgh. Having a conference in Scotland, with a focus on prescribing in Scotland had been a long term goal of the Prescribing Leads Group. The day was well supported with speakers from the Nursing and Midwivery Council, Association of Nurse Prescribing, Scottish Government and NHS Boards; with the highlights captured for you as pod casts, with real stories of practice developments and services delivery from NHS Boards, truly reflecting the commitment of staff to continue to develop their skills to meet the needs of patients.
