This includes:

• Developing policy on pay and terms and conditions for medical, dental, senior management and agenda for change NHS staff.

• Co-ordination of Scottish input to the relevant UK pay review bodies and pay negotiating machinery annually. Current evidence/information from SG Health Workforce and Performance Directorate to NHS Pay Review Body (NHSPRB) and the Doctors Dentists Review Body (DDRB) is available. Working with NHSScotland employers through the Management Steering Group of the Employers Reference Group. Historical DDRB reports can be found on the Office of Manpower Economics (OME) website.

• Administration of annual pay agreements for all Health Board employees.

• Leading the review and implementation of NHS Pension arrangements.
