This includes:

• Oversight of the Staff Governance Standard.
• Development of workforce productivity and efficiency measures.
• Development of employment practice policies.
• Providing the lead for Occupational Health and Safety and Healthy Working Lives strategies.
• Development of a range of retention strategies including 'step down' and flexible working.
• Partnership policy including Joint future and PPP/PFI (including secretariat to partnership structures)
• Provision of HR advice on related employment matters.
