- Oversight of the Staff Governance Standard.
- Development of workforce productivity and efficiency measures.
- Development of employment practice policies.
- Providing the lead for Occupational Health and Safety and Healthy Working Lives strategies.
- Development of a range of retention strategies including 'step down' and flexible working.
- Partnership policy including Joint future and PPP/PFI (including secretariat to partnership structures)
- Provision of HR advice on related employment matters.
