About the Policy and Approach Action Group (PAAG)
The Policy and Approach Action Group (PAAG) will take forward the production of cost/benefit and impact methodologies and draft a set of priorities and risk factors against which scrutiny can be judged. Ministers will be asked to agree these with the Parliament and the Auditor General for Scotland. Once these are agreed, PAAG will draft proposals for Ministers and Parliament to review existing scrutiny against the priorities and risks, using the impact methodologies to inform decisions.
