Overview

Service provider to the Scottish Government for the provision of operational services management, business and technology support to ensure business continuity, and incremental improvements, to the eProcurement Scotland Service.

What is in scope?

Full provision of a hosting solution for PECOS, Elcom's transactional purchase to pay software including hardware and system maintenance services, and application releases or upgrades. Full provision of a Business Continuity Service. Service Management to a minimum of ISO 9001 or equivalent along with security management to a minimum of ISO 27001 / 27002 or equivalent.

The provision of other eCommerce tools

• Professional Buying Tools (eSourcing)
• Collaborative Content Management
• Standard Pre-Qualification Questionnaire

Who is this available to?

Primary delivery is to the Scottish Government in support of the eCommerce shared service but is also available to Central Government, Fire, Health, Local authorities, Police. Universities and Colleges, Third Sector, Other Public Bodies via the Scottish Government.

Note: It is the responsibility of any buying organisation wishing to use the contract to satisfy itself that it is eligible to do so. Entitlement can be established from the terms of the eProcurement Service Management Notice published on Public Contracts Scotland. If there is any doubt, legal advice should be sought.

• A technology refresh will deliver a significant carbon footprint reduction.
• Access to the ePS Service is via multiple entry points.
• Management Information will be delivered via a new reporting model.
• Interoperability with other software will be developed.
• 30% growth in Service has been incorporated in the contract.
• Annual data archiving will be undertaken.
