National Sourcing Exercise: Procurement Training

Scottish Procurement with the People and Skills working group are designing a sourcing strategy for the design and delivery of Procurement Training on a Scottish National and Cross-Sector basis. The exact lotting structure and range of required services is yet to be determined. Final decisions are yet to be made but the requirement is likely to be split into lots to include (i) Professional Training (e.g. CIPS), (ii) Procurement Law, (iii) Technical Procurement (i.e. Procurement Basics) and (iv) Softer Skills in the procurement context (e.g. communication skills, change management, stakeholder management). A market-engagement day was held in Glasgow on the 1st of March 2011. The slides from the day, along with a record of the questions and answers session and other relevant documents, are available below.
