Introduction
The National Category Forum (NCF) identified that the top priority in the IT Services portfolio was a national framework for IT Managed Services. As such, Scottish Procurement commenced an extensive period of supplier and stakeholder engagement, which resulted in the IT Managed Services (ITMS) multi-supplier framework agreement being awarded on 31st March 2011.
The other areas identified by the NCF that were worthy of further consideration from a national perspective included: IT Consulting and IT Project and Programme Management.
