Benefits

  • The benefits of using an agency tend to be that the firm is able to trawl a pool of high calibre individuals (who are unlikely to be considering a move) whilst respecting client confidentiality.
  • A good agency will add value by using their networks efficiently. It will consider the individual's qualities, values and experience against the client requirements and organisational culture and then produce a shortlist of candidates.
  • It has traditionally been used for appointments paying around £100,000 per year or more but is now also being used for less senior posts (in the range of £50,000 to £200,000) in disciplines affected by skills shortages.
  • Savings FY 10/11 21% on annual spend (4 month period)
  • Savings FY 09/10 38% on annual spend
  • Savings FY 08/09 31% on annual spend (3 month period)
