National framework agreement for the provision of courier services.

What is in scope?

The key services and scope included under this agreement are:

  • Same day collection and delivery
  • Next day collection and delivery
  • International collection and delivery
  • Bespoke services

What is out of scope?

The courier services contract does not include some of the other product types often associated or provided by suppliers of courier services. Excluded:

  • Secure collection and delivery of cash
  • Postal services

Scottish Procurement appreciate there is still a requirement for the secure collection and delivery of cash. These should continue to be procured locally where required.

  • Other public bodies

Note: It is the responsibility of any buying organisation wishing to use the Framework Agreement to satisfy itself that it is eligible to do so. Entitlement can be established from the terms of the OJEU advert and guidance on this can be found in Annex A of Scottish Government Guidance on Framework Agreements.
