Scottish Procurement nominated for UK-wide awards

Scottish Procurement’s national contract for water has been shortlisted for the GO / John F McClelland Collaborative Procurement Initiative of the Year Award at the UK-wide GO Awards.

The contract covers 99% of public sector demand for water in Scotland, and together with national contracts for gas and electricity, is delivering combined annual benefits of approximately £25 million.

Also nominated from Scotland, for a variety of awards, are Fife Council Building Services, Tayside Contracts, Argyll and Bute Council, Health Facilities Scotland, NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, University of Edinburgh, and the partnership between Transport Scotland, Glasgow City Council, South Lanarkshire Council and Renfrewshire Council that was behind the construction of the M77 extension.
