PAW Scotland - About us

The Partnership for Action Against Wildlife Crime Scotland (PAW Scotland) represents a wide range of bodies concerned with the prevention and tackling of crimes against wildlife. It includes agencies like Scottish Natural Heritage, Scotland's 8 police forces and prosecutors as well as organisations representing a wide range of conservation and land management interests.

PAW Scotland has a number of working groups which meet on a regular basis to take forward specific areas of work related to tackling wildlife crime. These groups report to the Executive of PAW Scotland.

The Executive of PAW Scotland is chaired by the Scottish Minister for the Environment and Climate Change and includes the chairs of all the sub-groups.

There are also plenary sessions when representatives of all the partners have an opportunity to question and comment on the work of the Executive and sub-groups.
