Biodiversity and Scotland - Contact

These website pages are maintained by the Biodiversity Strategy Team based in the Scottish Government's Rural Directorate. It is dedicated to the provision of information relating to the conservation and enhancement of biodiversity in Scotland.

The team are responsible for policies to conserve Scotland's biodiversity as set out in the Scottish Biodiversity Strategy, and on Scotland's contribution to the UK's national and international commitments.

The Biodiversity Implementation Team work on behalf of the Scottish Biodiversity Forum to coordinate and facilitate the delivery of the Scottish Biodiversity Strategy Implementation Plans. Information on support and funding for individual projects is available on the Scottish Natural Heritage website.
