From 6-8 February 2012 Plas Tan Y Bwlch will again be host to a course for decision makers from sectors within public authorities, the business community and Non Government Organisations from across the UK. 'Reducing Risks - Ecosystems, Land Use and Human Wellbeing in the UK' will examine the importance of ecosystems and the services they provide to the economy and to society, and to empower participants with the confidence to inform decision-making that maximises biodiversity and ecosystem benefits, while efficiently delivering their own priorities.
Over 7-9 February 2011, Plas Tan Y Bwlch hosted the training course 'Reducing Risks - Ecosystems and Human Wellbeing' which gave delegates an insight into the benefits society gains from healthy ecosystems, with a particular focus on health and the economics of ecosystems and biodiversity.
