Applying an ecosystems approach to land use
The Land Use Strategy sets out the need to demonstrate how an ecosystems approach might be taken into account in relevant decisions. This Information Note is a first step towards doing this, outlining the principles, benefits and practical applications of an ecosystems approach. It will mainly be relevant to public bodies involved in land use decisions but may also be of interest to land managers and NGOs.
