The Water Industry Scotland Act 2002 as amended Schedules 3 and A1 set out the constitutional provisions for Scottish Water and the Water Industry Commission for Scotland (WICS). Essentially Scottish Ministers appoint the Chairs and Members to the Boards of Scottish Water and WICS, and endorse the terms and conditions, including remuneration, of the non-executive and executive board members, senior executives and staff of these organisations.
