Reports have been prepared by the Outputs Monitoring Group (OMG) on the improvements delivered during the 2002-06 (Quality and Standards 2) and 2006-10 (Quality and Standards 3A) regulatory periods.
These reports show that steady improvements have been made to services. By 31 March 2010:
- Compliance with stringent drinking water quality standards had reached the highest ever levels;
- More than 99% of Scotland's population connected to the public sewerage was served by a compliant wastewater treatment works;
- Customer service levels were comparable with those achieved by the English and Welsh companies.
