Beauly to Denny - Community Liaison Scheme

The Community Liaison Scheme is a document setting out Scottish and Southern Energy's (SSE) approach to community engagement for the construction period in respect of the Beauly to Denny 400kV overhead line between Beauly and the Wharry Burn, and can be viewed at this link. This document contains measures to establish and maintain close liaison between SSE and local community representatives, landowners and statutory consultees along the route of that section of the line. The Scheme also includes a commitment to the circulation of information about ongoing activities and in particular those activities which could have potential to cause disturbance.

The Scheme contains contact details through which interested persons can raise any issues or concerns they may have with the construction of the overhead line, and has been approved by The Highland, Perth & Kinross and Stirling Councils, and by the Cairngorms National Park Authority.
