This consultation was the second stage in the fundamental review of the Renewables Obligation (Scotland) Order ("the ROS"). The document above sought views on: Effectiveness of the Obligation; Energy from Mixed Wastes; Lower Cost Renewable Technologies; Obligation levels beyond 2015/16; Combined Heat and Power; Operation of the ROC Market / Administrative Issues. It should have been read and responded to in conjunction with the issues raised in the equivalent DTI paper which may be found on the internet at http://www.dti.gov.uk/renewables/renew_2.2.5b.htm.
Also available are a document containing our final policy positions following the closure of our recent statutory consultation on the 2005/6 review of the Renewables Obligation (Scotland), and a copy of the revised Order (taking effect from April 2006) which gave effect to these decisions.
