The Scottish Government is committed to improving energy efficiency across all sectors of society,
to aid Scotland's economic recovery and to help reduce carbon emissions and tackle climate change. Our Climate Change Act includes a mandatory provision to introduce an Energy Efficiency Action Plan (EEAP) for Scotland.
The consultation on the EEAP opened on 08 October 2009 and closed on 05 January 2010. The nearly 500 responses were then independently analysed. The analysis is available at Http://www.scotland.gov.uk/Publications/2010/04/15164620/0.
The final Action Plan will be published before summer Recess.
